we may be seeing the beginning of a new religious denominati­on here. when William Miller's prediction­s failed again and again in the mid-1800s, most of his people left him. the rest became the core of what would become the Seventh Day Adventists­.



the same thing might just happen with Camping's group. there've been worse origins of religious sects; after all, Hubbard created Scientolog­y over a bet.



me, i wouldn't go anyway, even if summoned. not if all the dogs, cats, horses, etc i've ever had wouldn't be there with me. i'd just as soon stay for the show. i can't get out much nowadays, and the show would be coming to me.
