he and the original 'al Qaeda' could literally be scattered across the face of the globe, from 2003 on. in this day of lightspeed communication and worldwide travel, they could literally be anywhere, including your neighborhood or mine.



we had six-seven years of the Cheney-Rumsfield Administration telling us they knew where bin Laden was, and that they were 'close' to getting him.



all mouth, no results.



and several of the so-called 'al Qaeda' groups are basically wannabes, tacking the name onto themselves, while others are more dedicated to the core group.



to 'unleash the full power of the US Military' and ensure we got all of them, we'd basically have to launch a nuclear war, which would devastate everything except grass and cocroaches.



as is, what we have already unleashed has not done much good, as witness the past nine years. we're still breeding new generations to hate us and act against us.



80% of terrorist organizations in the past forty years have ended through political means and regular, normal police activity. military action counted for less than 10%.
