no. it happened during the third Human-Plod­nik War. the humans of the 25th century went into the far past, where they aimed a massive molecular disintegra­tor at the Plodnik stronghold from orbit, tearing a gash into the countrysid­e. this also put an end to the Plodnik which had been occupying that part of the planet. the humans were then able to move in and repossess the land.



unfortunat­ely, most of the surroundin­g area was made a desert. a good water supply's been a problem ever since. but hey, at least they got rid of the Plodniks.
