Faith And Fanaticism In South's Football God

i've never considered myself either brave or courageous. i'm only me. i give thought to injury. diabetes is ultimately a degenerative disease which leads to increased likelihoods of strokes and heart attacks. no cure, and its spreading like wildfire in school-age children. that disturbs me very, very greatly.

my father spent the 60's in and out of hospitals with heart attacks, and it finally did him in. my mother, also diabetic, suffered a series of strokes which left her paralyzed till she died.

yeah, i give lots of thought to the future, mine and others. i just don't consider mine as important as others.

if they need religion so bad before the game, a chapel should be put on the field for the players. . .and the coaches can give sermons for each team and the audience. . .

"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." -- Matthew 6:5-6

hmmmmmm. . .looks to me like the praying should be done in the locker room, if you ask me. . .
