Christianity in the Military: Are Chaplains Becoming Increasingly Fundamentalist?

evangelicals in the military started as a response to the 'atheistic Godless Communist' threat.

they've been entrenching themselves for decades, especially in the Air Force. in the past few years, there have been numerous lawsuits filed claiming forced religious conversion to fundmamentalism. the majority of those lawsuits came from members of other Christian denominations.

certain fundamentalist groups gained near-total access to high Pentagon officials and personnel, including them in their own promotional videos, etc.

and there continue to be forms of 'forced' evangelization within the services. different commmanders within the Army have more or less forced personnel to 'concerts' in which promote evangelicals.

this is not, of course, counting the infamous 'Jesus Weapons' inscribed with verses from the Bible, nor the Bibles 'issued' to troops for conversion of Afghans.

i've posted about this at several places in the past, including here. and virtually all of these stories have been here at one time or another.

the religious presence in the military--promotion of religious ideology--nullifies the service person's oath to the Constitution. which makes them a danger to the Republic.
