Christianity in the Military: Are Chaplains Becoming Increasingly Fundamentalist?

in the services, the oath to uphold the Constitution comes first. when people promote religious ideology over the Constitution, they are violating their oaths of service.

i'm also a former Devil Dog. the chaplains, when they do their job, are an invaluable asset to the services, and i would deny them nothing. but once religious ideology becomes more important than the nation, it's time to reign it in.

it also smacks of bigotry and intolerance, and it's an offense to individuals serving, yet holding to other faiths, or none..

and, yeah. . .it WOULD make more sense to hand out condoms and give directions, rather than intimidate through religion. besides, sexuality is a basic biological need, and it's more human than the dogma passed down the past 3500 years.
