Jesus was very close to Mary Magdalene. her gospel was one of many that were almost totally destroyed by 'the one true church' after Constantine converted.
a few copies of these Gospels exist. copies of others may still be undiscovered.
keep in mind that in all four Biblical Gospels, she was the first to see Jesus after the Resurrection.
on the other hand, i never saw anything in the Gospels that said Jesus was against homosexuals. he knew what they were; he'd studied anpreached from the Torah and the books of the prophets. but he never said a word against homosexuality that i saw.
on the other hand, 'saint' Paul, coming after and having never met him, acted like Mary Magdalene didn't exist and started adding all kinds of things to Christianity, like slavery and domestic assault and child abuse and. . .
where one can be sure Jesus only hated hypocrites--as can be told by reading the Gospels--Paul added all kinds of groups to 'the damned'.
the right has a habit of paying attention only to the Old Testament, and the books after the Gospels.
ignoring the Gospels, they then call themselves 'Christian'.
