HuffPost Religion Announces the Launch of Religion and Science: A Contemporary Discussion

Dante Aligheri's "Divine Comedy" (Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise) was true and accurate science. . .as was known in the 15th century.

the point of a schism betweenn science and religion is psychological crap.

the problem is with present-day individuals and groups, who benefit from science while claiming their faith in a book millennia old.

this is the hypocritical nature of the dogmatist, especially in this country. for those who cling to the Judaeo-Christian Bible for their worldviews, they don't need cars, telephones, television, the internet, healthcare, etc, etc, etc., because they have the Bible.

if they truly 'believe', then there is nothing, and i repeat nothing, outside the Bible that they need.

annd if the Bible is all that's needed, then such 'believers' should be living in a manner that reflects Judea, 3000 BC-300 AD. 300 AD - 1600 AD could be somewhat tolerated, in small doses. . .things didn't improve all that much in the interim.

i suppose that would take care of the healthcare, employment and immigration problems in one fell swoop.

it'd certainly be more peaceful.
