NRA Members Disagree With NRA Leadership: Those On Terrorist Watch List Should Not Be Able To Buy Firearms

msbadger. . .probo. . .the sad fact of the matter is that all life is cannibalistic, whether it's animal, plant, fungoid or other.

there's really no difference: life feeds on life. we make value judgments based on the concepts of 'soul', 'intelligence', 'mind' and other nebulous concepts, but it all boils down to the same thing.

the only difference (and it's my thought, i can always be wrong about this) is that the human is the only delusional animal, who seeks and makes rationalizations and justifications for anything it does, including its consumption of other life.

i know vegetarians who are so zealous in their defense of vegetarianism that they are really no different than religious zealots; it's only the focus that's different. some are virtually violent in their defense and promotion of vegetarianism; and for some, it's destroyed relationships.

to look at the bright side, as if there was one. . .if everything were perfect, we'd kill ourselves out of boredom and apathy.
