
he's a perfect choice to balance the other side. unlike others, he's been unattached to any scandal that i know of and, like you and others say, he's been on the level. he has a steady way of speaking, without bragging or self-aggra
ndizement of any sort. he's an echo of what Republicans and Democrats were when i was little: they might disagree and even argue, but there wouldn't be any insults or grandstanding, and they'd get together afterwards for a drink.
unfortunately, we'd have to elect another professional comedian for him to have a drink with. that kind of relationship's been gone for a long, long time. . .
