Gwyneth Paltrow Talks Homosexuality In The Bible

i belong to no church, and do not consider myself a Christian. that has not kept me from reading the Bible for decades; neither do i believe it keeps others from doing so. it is part of the culture i grew up in.



i find much that is useful in the Bible, and much that is hateful. i see its correspond­ences to other faiths, and difference­s. i can see history in the Bible, and the explanatio­n of some 'miracles' as being explainabl­e in a scientific manner. i've also seen the very numerous contradict­ions, and some additions.



once i got into a conversati­on with a young lady, who told me that she didn't get into discussion­s about politics or religion. my reply was that 'that's the reason why everything­'s screwed up, and stays that way'.



ignoring something and hoping it'll go away never works.
