they also have to be taught against 'political science'. . .remember the exclusion of 'Jewish science' during the Third Reich and 'Communist science' during the Stalin era, the latter of which mandated that science 'had to conform' to good 'Communist­' principles and thought.



in recent weeks, the rulership of Iran announced that they would be rewriting social studies, if not banning them, to put them more in accord with the Koran. most of these subjects, including the social sciences, require independen­t critical thought and recognizin­g the relationsh­ip between one's own culture and that of others. since Iran is a theocracy, they're also adjusted to fit a political line, as well.



The Texas State Board of Education is basically doing the same thing to the same subjects in their rewriting of history, etc., shaping accepted history, studies and principles to a political agenda. it won't be long until religious ideology based on the Bible is inserted, if it haqsn't already.



and Arizona's state education law, going into effect today, does pretty much the same thing by outlawing ethnic studies unless they conform to an 'approved' form, i.e., ideology. . .
