Yesterday, I noticed that former President George W Bush had started his own Twitter account and Facebook page:

This is a step forward for the former President; he has to learn to type, which explains the sparseness of his pages to date.

It got me to wondering. . .what if Dick Cheney had a Facebook page? Now, THAT could be fun. . .

STATUS: "Gone to the shop to tighten up the screws on the pacemaker."

STATUS: "Gone to Washington to tighten up the screws on the Republicans."

STATUS: "Gone to FOX News to tighten up the screws on the American People."

STATUS: "Hi. We're Archie Bell & The Drells, from Houston, Texas, and we're here to do a new song we call the 'Tighten Up'. . ."

STATUS: "Going out for another peaceful, relaxing day of hunting. Anyone want to go with me?"

STATUS: "Lynne & Liz refuse to let me visit little George. Afraid I'll start teasing him about his college cheerleading again. . .pansy-boy. . ."

STATUS: "Fuel cells in pacemaker becoming unstable. Must get temper under control before critical mass is reached."

STATUS: "Met with BP execs about Gulf spill. Reiterated that they must keep the media away from the site at all costs. Cannot let cameras be present when Chthulu and the other Old Ones emerge. . .Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn. . ."

STATUS: "Had another seizure; suspect erratic signals from pacemaker. . .WHAT'S THIS RECEIPT: $500,000.00 TO THE DNC?"
